  1. Have you determined the essential organizational capabilities that your company must have in order to successfully execute your business model?


  2. Do you have the resources required - internal talent, knowledge, and experience as well as key external partner relationships?


  3. Is the organization structured effectively?


  4. Do you have the right individuals in the right jobs?  Are you leveraging your people effectively? 


  5. Do you measure individual and team performance and coach them accordingly?  Reward them accordingly?  


  6. Do managers excel in coaching and developing their employees?


  7. Do managers communicate vertically and horizontally throughout the organization so that people have the information they need to perform their work?


  8. Do your managers foster a progressive work climate that encourages teamwork, accountability, customer service,  quality products/services, and a discipline of high performance?


  9. What mechanisms do you have in place to listen to customers and respond to their needs?
